Located just 40kms from Moshi, this is one of the most beautiful parks in Tanzania. It is remarkable for its range of different habitats….a miniature volcanic crater, highland rainforest, acacia woodlands, and a string of crater lakes (Momella Lakes). It’s three most spectacular features are these Momella Lakes, Meru Crater, and Ngurudoto Crater.
In addition, on a clear day, this park offers spectacular views of both Mt. Meru and Mt. Kilimanjaro.

Due to its close proximity to Moshi and AMEG LODGE, this park can be visited as a day excursion too.

Wildlife
A wide variety of wildlife can be spotted here…various antelopes, buffalo, hyena, leopard, baboon, giraffe, elephant, hippo, and a wealth of bird life. The black and white colobus monkey is a favourite and is easily spotted here.
